We cover a 30 mile radius from DT9 , with an additional out of area charge being incurred from 20 miles onwards.
No , you can’t, put plasterboard in any of our skips without specifically booking it for plasterboard only. If you have plasterboard to dispose of, please let the office staff know and we can find the best solution for you.
If plasterboard is found loose in the skip a load cleaning charge of £144.00 including v.a.t will be charged to cover sorting materials as well as for responsible disposal.
The standard hire period of any of our skips is 2 weeks (14 days ). If you are in need of an extended hire period, please notify us whilst booking and we will do our best to accommodate.
No, in order for us to collect your skip you must ring the office and notify us that you are finished with the skip and happy for it to be collected.
No special waste is to be put into the skips. You can NOT put the following in the skip: Asbestos, fridges, freezers, fridge freezers, fluorescent tubes, televisions, computer monitors, tyres, batteries, gas bottles, oils, fats, greases, glues, paints, chemicals, animal carcasses, animal waste, clinical waste, plasterboard, or mattresses.
Yes however, you cannot put inert waste in our 4 and 5 Yard skips or the 20 yard roro due to the weight restrictions we face running smaller trucks.
Your skip can be sited anywhere off the public highway or roads. This is most commonly driveways and gardens or it can be private land.
This is often not a problem , because we run the smaller trucks we can get to most places however, please ensure you notify office staff so we know what to expect.
We accept bank transfer ,cash and cheque. Please bear in mind that bank transfer payments must be received before the skip will be delivered. Cash or cheque will be collected on delivery by the driver. Paying via cheque will incur an extra charge of £5.
If a skip is overfilled but is deemed to be safe to transport by the driver, you can opt for us to take the skip away as normal, however this will incur an extra charge according to the excess amount. If the skip is deemed Unsafe for transport by the driver, it must be unloaded to a level load to ensure that it is safe for transport.
